The National Windrush Monument is a bronze sculpture by Basil Watson and unveiled in 2022. It commemorates the British Commonwealth West Indians who disembarked from the Empire Windrush in 1948 seeking employment and a new life in the UK. They were later known as the "Windrush Generation."
