Former entrance to M & S Jnc Canal
The Manchester & Salford Junction (M & S Jnc) Canal connected the Rochdale Canal in this view and the River Irwell. It was mostly in tunnel under the city centre and this arm under Great Bridgewater Street is the remnant.
